I find myself looking back more often than looking forward. I tend to live in the past, and dislike change. However, I am so in love with my baby girl that I am now finding myself looking forward to her future. I don't want to look back in my life because she wasn't here with us. I am having a little bit of a hard time knowing how fast she is growing. I know she is still a newborn, but she is changing daily. One day I will look at her and she will be all grown up. This makes me sad. So...today I am going to try to make an effort to only think about her future and how exciting it will be.

Today Ellie is over a month old. She is now starting to show signs of smiling while awake. I am so excited to have her smile at me for the first time!
